Hitachi Original Bearings — Supporting Every Smooth Rotation with Micron-Level Precision Hitachi Original Bearings are rotational support components that integrate high-quality bearing steel, precision heat treatment, and micron-level machining technology, providing each rotating part of your equipment with minimal friction, maximum load capacity, and the longest service life. Pure Bearing Steel, Tough and Wear-Resistant: Hitachi original bearings are made from high-quality bearing steel (such as GCr15) and undergo vacuum degassing treatment, resulting in extremely low impurity content and non-metallic inclusions controlled to the strictest standards. This pure steel base provides a foundation for high contact fatigue life, still resisting fatigue spalling after tens of millions of stress cycles. For large slewing bearings, surface-hardened steel is also used, keeping the core tough while the surface is extremely hard, allowing it to withstand impact loads without cracking or denting. Precision Heat Treatment, Uniform Inside and Out: Each set of Hitachi original bearings undergoes optimized heat treatment — quenching, tempering, and deep-freezing — achieving a uniform fine martensitic structure, with hardness stabilized between HRC60-65. The rolling elements and inner and outer raceways undergo surface induction hardening or carburizing, imparting high wear resistance and contact fatigue strength while preserving core toughness. The bearings offer excellent dimensional stability after heat treatment and maintain their clearance within the designed range during long-term operation. Ultra-Precision Machining, Mirror-Finish Raceways: The raceways and rolling elements of Hitachi original bearings are machined with ultra-precision grinding, achieving surface roughness as low as Ra0.05μm-Ra0.1μm, reaching mirror-level smoothness. Such low surface roughness minimizes the friction coefficient between rolling elements and raceways, generating less heat and lower wear rates. Meanwhile, the contour accuracy of raceways is controlled at the micron level, forming a perfect contact ellipse with rolling elements, ensuring even stress distribution and avoiding early fatigue caused by edge stress concentration. Precision Clearance, Match Work Conditions: Hitachi original bearings offer multiple clearance grades based on mounting positions and working conditions — from C2 (small clearance) to C4 (large clearance), ensuring the bearing remains in optimal operating condition under thermal expansion and loads. For parts such as engines and gearboxes, which experience large temperature changes, appropriate clearance is applied to prevent thermal expansion from causing seizure; for precision positioning parts like rotary supports, clearance is strictly controlled to ensure rotational accuracy. Every bearing's clearance undergoes 100% inspection, with no defective products allowed to leave the factory. |

Every degree of rotation relies on a precise 'pivot point.'
In every rotating part of Hitachi excavators and bulldozers—the high-speed rotation of the engine crankshaft, the meshing transmission of gearbox gears, the reciprocating motion of hydraulic pump pistons, the drive output of travel motors, and the slewing bearing of the upper frame—bearings silently bear tremendous loads, ensuring smooth and precise rotation. When the equipment operates under heavy load in mines, each bearing endures radial and axial forces of hundreds of kilograms or even several tons while rotating at thousands of revolutions per minute. When bearing clearance increases, rolling elements wear, or the cage deforms, rotation begins to 'wobble'—producing abnormal noises, vibrations, heat, and seizing, causing power to be lost through friction and precision to be lost in the wobbling. Bearings that are neglected, once they fail, can instantly paralyze the entire equipment's 'rotating system.' |
